Is marketing running your life, or are you running your marketing?

The Marketing Ecosystem Lounge is where female founders stop collecting disconnected tips and finally build one marketing system that works together.

Are you exhausted from doing marketing all day, every day, and still not seeing results?

Or maybe it's the opposite: you're paralyzed by the sheer number of things you could be doing, and have no idea which ones actually matter for your business. Either way, you're not lazy, and you're not bad at this. You've just been handed a pile of disconnected tips instead of a system, and no one ever showed you how the pieces are supposed to work together.

Most Marketing advice was written for a business and life that look nothing like yours.

So you get handed a stack of tactics that may or may not apply to you, and you're left stitching it into something that's supposed to work like a business strategy, which rarely happens.

Marketing isn't supposed to feel like a hundred separate fires you're putting out before breakfast. It's an ecosystem. Your content, email list, socials, and systems should all talk to each other instead of competing for your attention one platform at a time.

Once you actually see it that way, you can stop guessing what to do next, because the ecosystem already tells you what it needs.

That's MEL! A guided home base where you learn the framework one piece at a time, from someone who's actually done it, alongside a community full of women doing the exact same thing you are.

By the way, I’m Amy

Founder of the marketing agency Gate Forty Two, and the brain behind everything MEL teaches. I've spent 18 years in marketing across corporate, nonprofit, government, and agency work, and I've built more than 70 brands, from a historic tall ship sailing the Pacific coast and a food bank network feeding 32 pantries, to real estate teams, dental practices, and local shops that are the backbone of their towns.

Everything I teach inside MEL is the exact framework I use with real clients, in real businesses, under real deadlines. I'm not teaching from a book I read once. I can't do everyone's marketing for them, but I can pull back the curtain and hand you the same playbook my clients get.

I'm also a mom, a wife, and someone who knows exactly what it's like to carry a heavy, invisible load… the toilet paper restocked, the appointments remembered, and the business built in the cracks of everything else.

I built MEL for the woman behind the business, the one doing all of that, because I refuse to believe she has to choose between an ambitious business and her actual life. Both, always!

Here's what's waiting for you on the other side

Imagine finally knowing exactly what to do with your marketing, and why, instead of guessing your way through another tip you saved and never used.

Your website, emails, and socials actually work together, instead of a hundred separate chores pulling you in different directions.

You show up consistently without burning out, because your marketing finally fits the life you're already living instead of demanding you rearrange it.

And you've got a place to bring your questions and get real answers from someone with almost two decades in this, plus a room full of other women building right alongside you.

How your marketing grows

Every month covers one topic, and the topics move through four ecosystems in order. Instead of collecting scattered tips, you're building a complete, connected system where each season sets up the next.

The Desert | Foundation & Clarity

You start here, in the wide open quiet, stripping everything back to what actually matters:

  • Your Google Business Profile

  • Your home base (even if that's just a Linktree for now)

  • Social media that fits your life instead of running it

The Rainforest | Connection & Growth

This is where your ecosystem comes alive and every piece starts feeding the others:

  • Conversational automation with tools like ManyChat

  • Core systems that run quietly in the background

  • A batching workflow so your marketing stops eating your entire week

The Ocean | Depth & Flow

Now that people can find you, this season is about giving them a reason to stay:

  • Email marketing

  • The client experience, from first touch to loyal client

  • Long-form content in whatever format fits you, blog, vlog, or Substack

The Highrise | Visibility & Elevation

You've built the whole thing. Now you rise to the top of it and lead:

  • Paid advertising

  • Funnels

  • Analytics, finally understanding what your numbers are telling you

Frequently asked questions

Got questions? Let’s talk it through.

Maybe you want to know if this fits your business. Maybe you just want a sense of what it's like to work with me before you commit. Not everything gets answered by a sales page. So ask me directly. Book a 20-minute call, and you'll leave knowing if this is right for you. If it is, your $42 call fee goes straight toward your first month.
